The HERA project tackles some of the main challenges of the countries involved in the project in the area of cultural tourism: – implemented management and promotional strategies towards the evaluation of the Adriatic area’s cultural heritage; – Reinforcement of the local communities’ involvement in the promotion and evaluation of the cultural heritage; – Spreading touristic demand over the entire year’s duration; – Improving and balancing the quality and quantity of touristic offerings; – Promotion of the Adriatic basin as a unique cultural-tourism destination.
